What a sweet and beautiful family! We shot these pictures on a bone-chilling, freezing cold day. I'm honestly surprised at how good they turned out considering we all wanted to cry it was so cold. Look at the kids smiles!! They are so cute. I'm so happy we were able to get such great shots. I'm excited to photograph the kids again this spring when the weather warms up, because let's just be honest....they are both adorable and really sweet.

Audrey, my dear friend and client, just picked up her amazing gallery wrap the other day. I just had to take pictures and share them because gallery wraps are so freakin' cool. Audrey's gallery wrap was HUGE. It was 30x45 inches. And it's going to look so hot on her wall at her house!

Gallery wraps come in standard sizes and custom sizes (square, panoramic, etc). The image of your choice is printed on fine art canvas and then wrapped around a THICK stretcher frame. It's soooo cool because they look like fine art you'd see in a museum, with no frame to distract from the beauty of the picture. AND you don't have to pay to get your picture custom framed, which saves lots of dough.

Huge Pandora's Box shoot!

Wow! This was such an amazingly fun experience. Brittany from Pandora's Box wanted to have a few girls of different ages model her fabulous line of custom hats and headbands. We had so much fun collaborating on this and picking out the adorable models. Nothing is more fun for a photographer to photograph kids who WANT to have their picture taken. And of course beautiful to boot!! A huge thank you to the mom's and girls who worked with us on this project!!

Kelly and Kara.

I loved everything about this couple's style! Kara's dress was a refurbished dress from a thrift store and it was super cool! The details at their reception were gorgeous and of course a treat to photograph. Kara's flowers were perfect, and her antique jewelry was amazing. All around there was a very unique look and feel to everything.

I am thankful for.....

This Thanksgiving I was especially thankful that my dad was able to be home with us to celebrate the holiday. Last month he was diagnosed with acute leukemia, and has been in the hospital ever since. He has been through the ringer with 24 hour a day chemo treatments and then through the rounds of blood transfusions. I almost feel like no one in the whole world loves their dad as much as I love mine, but I know that's silly, and I know that other's love their dads just as much. But still, it really makes you reflect on just how much you love someone when they become sick with cancer. And the thought of losing them enters your mind. So I guess that's why I feel like no one else in the world loves their dad as much as I love mine

My dad wasn't expected to be out of the hospital by Thanksgiving. But I get a call Thanksgiving morning from my dad. He said "Guess what?" I said "What?" He said "I'm home!" I was elated. I had no idea that they would let him out for thanksgiving. And to know that we were going to be able to spend one of our families favorite holidays together....and Pops was going to be there. It was just all such a blessing.

There are no words to describe how much I love my dad (pops). He has been my rock, my friend, my hero, and well, my dad.

God Bless him at this time. My sweet daddy.

These are Chelsey's senior pictures. She has the most beautiful face! I love her short, spunky haircut and it totally brings out her amazing eyes. I have a theory that only girls/women with the prettiest of faces can pull off the super short haircuts. Chelsey is definitely one of those girls! She is such a babe and we had great time shooting these pictures.
So on a sidenote I LOVE LOVE senior pictures. But I don't really shoot a lot of them....so if you know a senior that needs some super cool senior pictures, send them my way! I'd be so grateful!!
