The Houghtons.

I've been taking the Houghton's pictures for a long time now. It's always so cool to walk into someone's house and see all of the pictures you've taken decorating their walls. I feel so appreciative and grateful for clients who have been so wonderful to me and who have let me take their pictures for so long. Wendy (the mama) just had a baby two weeks ago. Ummm, yes she is already as skinny as a rail. Which blows my mind! I mean, I am a skinny person too, but I wasn't a toothpick two weeks after having my baby. ANYWAYS, it's always nice going to someone's home to take pictures. It's so much more relaxed. Kids feel more comfortable. I just love it.

On a side note...there are lots of babies being born lately (or so it seems to me). If you are looking for a newborn baby photo session please call me within the first TWO WEEKS of your baby's birth. The newborn stage is SO fleeting, and at 4 weeks, it's already over. They become more wakeful, and bigger, and more wiggly, and not so sleepy.....SO anyways, if you want to capture that beautiful newborn bliss it's best to do so VERY SOON after the baby is born. I like to do newborn sessions at your home because it's so relaxed and comfortable for you and your baby. ALSO, it's always fun to do creative and fun things with your sleeping little one like this...
